Greetings, fellow Massachusettan, John! We moved to Florida two yEARs ago, but I still consider myself a Bostonian. I love living so close to The Mouse, but hot dog, do I miss a New England Fall!
So you sound like you are about to be Father-in-Law of the yEAR when you purchase an
Annual Pass for your chosen daughter. How lucky is she, and how lucky are you to have such a great relationship with your kiddo’s spouse?! As long as she has a government-issued ID that shows
she is a member of your household, you can purchase an Annual Pass for her with your Disney Vacation Club Member discount!
You have
a few different options for passes, including the Disney Gold Pass., which is excellent for the budget and
Disney PhotoPass downloads, but blackout dates apply. If you all want to visit with no restrictions, any time of the yEAR, I would suggest either the
Disney Platinum Pass or the Disney Platinum Plus Pass. The difference between the two is that
the plus pass comes with access to Walt Disney World’s fantastic water parks,
Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course, AND ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
John, while you’re visiting, make sure to take advantage of the discounts associated with your
Member Benefits. We returned home today from a week-long stay at the Resort, and I mentioned our Membership every time a bill appeared. I would love to say the extra savings stayed in our bank account, but honestly, it probably went to extra
churros!
If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to swing on back. I wish you a magical vacation!
Rayna
