my daughter is having her 16th birthday and we want to have a party for her on our disney cruise trip is there a way to have a party or would it be more of a dinner.

Welcome aboard, Bob! We're so glad you sailed on by with your question.

I think you've upped the Super Sweet 16 bar by thinking of planning a birthday celebration on your Disney Cruise Line vacation. What a shiptacular way to make magical memories your daughter will cherish for a lifetime.

If you let Disney Cruise Line know you'll be celebrating, they can make arrangements for a special celebration during one of your dining room experiences. You can also arrange for some beautiful onboard gifts to celebrate - everything from birthday cakes and treats to a full-on, total stateroom makeover in birthday decor

There are meeting facilities aboard each ship in the Disney fleet, and while they are primarily intended for corporate events and business functions, they are able to provide catering and beverage service, as well as music and visual media options. I've used one myself for an informal get-together when I planned a family group cruise, so they may be able to help you plan something that doesn't take place in a dining room.

I wish your daughter a very happy celebration, Bob.
