My daughter graduated high school this year, we did not bring her cap and gown to Disney with us. Where can we get a cap and gown for pictures?

Hi Francine, and welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you’re at Disney World right now, so let’s make sure your daughter’s graduation pictures are as magical as possible!

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen a cap and gown for sale at any stores in the theme parks, resort hotels, or Disney Springs. However, you might be able to find Mickey ears with a graduation cap! These would be the practically perfect way to commemorate your daughter’s celebratory visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I've seen them sold in many of the theme park gift shops, so ask a Cast Member if you need help tracking one down. And don’t forget to pick up a complimentary I’m Celebrating button, which you can get from resort hotel front desks and many gift shop checkout counters.

If you’d prefer a real cap and gown, another option would be to use an online resale website to find someone local who has one for sale.

Now, let’s talk about getting some magical graduation pictures! There are lots of PhotoPass photographers who can get photos of your daughter in all four theme parks, and even sprinkle a bit of pixie dust in the form of Magic Shots. Since this is an extra special occasion, you might want to book Capture Your Moment where you get a dedicated 20-minute session with a PhotoPass photographer. They know all the best angles in the theme parks! And even sweeter, there’s currently a limited-time summer offer where you can save $20 on new Capture Your Moment sessions through September 1, 2025! Note that booking is through different pages for the four theme parks + Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Hollywood Studios - Batuu, and Animal Kingdom).

For something more formal, there are also two PhotoPass studios, the Royal Portrait Studio inside Sir Mickey’s at Magic Kingdom and the Disney PhotoPass Studio at Disney Springs. They have fun backgrounds and props, and no reservation is required. If you have Memory Maker, these pictures are included!

I hope you have an amazing rest of your visit at Disney World. If you have any other questions, we’d love to have you back at planDisney!
