My daughter will be 2 when we go to WDW, I understand it will be free admission to the park. I am just wondering about the character dining experience? If we do the dining plan, how many table service meals will we need to use for 2 adults and my 2 yr old?

    Hi there Wendy,

I'm so excited to hEAR you are planning a Walt Disney World vacation for your 2-year-old daughter! I have taken all four of my children to Walt Disney World Resort before their 3rd birthday. There's nothing better than seeing the magic of Disney through your child's eyes.

I am happy to report children under the age of 3 are not charged when sharing from an adult's plate at Character Dining experiences and all-you-care-to-enjoy dining locations. Children under the age of 3 are not eligible for the Disney Dining Plan. If you do purchase the Disney Dining Plan, Table-Service meals will only be redeemed for the two adults in the dining party, and your daughter will not be charged if sharing from your plate.

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any additional questions or would like dining recommendations, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Wendy!

    Bon Appétit,
