I have a daughter with gluten and dairy allergies. Are there stores nearby Disney I could get to or have delivered to our hotel? Are there gluten free options at the quick service restaurants? Any other advice?

    Hi Lisa,

One reason I love vacationing at the Walt Disney World Resorts is because I do not worry about food issues. My youngest daughter has a shellfish allergy and my nephew has egg, dairy and nuts. Both of them had no issues eating at any meal during our vacation in December.

We did order some food from an online grocer, Garden Grocer. They did deliver to us directly at our hotel. No need to worry about being at the resort for delivery as they deliver to bell services. Bell services holds your food in including perishable items and then leaves a message at your room that your food is delivered. You can then call bell services to have it delivered. Some guests order from Amazon and have it delivered to the front desk as well.

You can also ask for special menus when you go to quick service restaurants.

Finally, email the team at Special Diets at Special.Diets@Disneyworld.com at least 14 days prior so they can provide you with answers to any questions you may have.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
