Hi there, Joanne! We're so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. You must be excited about your daughter's upcoming nuptials! It sounds like it will be a magical time for everyone.
With
Minnie Vans, it's a relief knowing that the drivers are Cast Members, and we can expect the same magical Disney customer service. They can accommodate up to six riders, so depending on your party size, you will probably need to request several (and you'll need to do this from different phones). My friend
Jane uses the Lyft app when she travels to the US and advises UK guests to set up their accounts and link payment methods before leaving home. Also, you'll need to put in your international mobile phone number, which starts with a +44 then you drop the first zero from your phone number.
I spoke to a Cast Member at the Minnie Van Service Center, and she said there are three drop-off locations at
Disney Springs: East, West, and Town Center. The closest one to STK Orlando would be the West Side; it is about a five-minute walk from the restaurant. Minnie Vans are based on availability. So, in case of delays, don't wait until the last minute to hail your ride. Since this is a super special event, I recommend requesting it about 45 minutes in advance.
STK Orlando has a fun, hip vibe and a sleek interior. If you get a chance, head up to the rooftop terrace because it's absolutely amazing. It's the perfect place for a sunset cocktail toast to the bride and groom. Also, don't miss the Parmesan Truffle Fries- they are the star of the show!
Best of luck, Joanne, and congratulations to the happy couple!
