Hello. My daughter favors the villains rather than the princesses. Is there somewhere I should look for them in particular? Also, is there a good place to see fireworks on the 4th of July without being in a park? Thanks!

    Hi Nichole!

That is so awesome that your daughter loves the Disney Villains! I love meeting the villains because they offer a new and exciting photo opportunity.

The best place to meet the villains is during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. During this event I was able to meet Maleficent, Cruella de Vil and Jafar. This special ticketed event occurs on select nights in September and October.

If you are not visiting during this time of year, another option to meet the Disney Villains is in Epcot in the World Showplace gates between Canada and the United Kingdom pavilions. This greeting location is not widely advertised or known and there are not set times, dates or characters for this location. However, if you are able to catch the characters at this location, you will be able to meet characters that typically aren't out and about. I was able to meet Geppetto, Prince John and King Louie.

The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Cruise is also a great option, as you can meet Captain Hook. This is also a great non-park location to watch the 4th of July fireworks, as you will be able to see them sparkle over Cinderella Castle from Seven Seas Lagoon. Another great place to see the fireworks is from the balcony at California Grill. Make an Advanced Dining Reservation for about an hour before the fireworks and then go on the balcony after dinner to watch the show.

    Magically,
    Stacy
