Hi, Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and welcome to the
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder family.
It looks like you may need to give the dedicated
Annual Passholder helpline a call to make sure you won’t have trouble activating your Annual Pass during your next visit to
Walt Disney World Resort. While it is possible to
give an Annual Pass as a gift, the gift recipient's name and address must match the name and address provided at the time of purchase. If that was your daughter’s name (and she has since gifted the unactivated Annual Pass to you), those items won’t match up.
When redeeming an Annual Pass purchased as a gift, the gift recipient must also provide the purchase confirmation number (along with a photo ID) in order to activate the Pass before entry into any of the
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. If you daughter does not have this confirmation number, that may prove to be a problem when you try to activate the Pass. In addition to calling the Annual Passholder helpline, you can also
contact V.I.PASSHOLDER Support by using the form posted on the Walt Disney World Resort website.
I hope you’re able to get everything straightened out prior to your next visit, Lisa! As an Annual Passholder, you can enjoy a
wide variety of discounts on merchandise, dining, Resort activities, special events (such as
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party), and
Walt Disney World Resort hotel stays. We just celebrated our third anniversary as Annual Passholders, and we love being a part of the Passholder family!
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help, Lisa. We hope to see you real soon.
Amy
