My daughter is going to Disneyworld for spring break, what kind of identification is required with the ticket. She is going with a friend.

    Hi Caroline,

A trip to the Walt Disney World Resort sure sounds like an amazing way for your daughter to enjoy her Spring Break!

While adults need to provide photo identification to check into a Disney Resort hotel or purchase an alcoholic beverage, no identification is needed for minors, and your daughter won't need anything official to enjoy her vacation to the most magical place on earth. You're free to send her with as many or as few official documents that you personally would like for her to have while she travels without you. When she first uses her theme park ticket, it will be connected to her via her fingerprint, which is captured digitally, converted to a unique number, and then that image is discarded. Since theme park tickets are non-transferable, they'll verify her identity with her finger each time she uses her ticket to enter a theme park.

I'd definitely encourage her to take lots of pictures so that you can relive the magic of her Disney vacation with her for years to come! Maybe her friend's family has even purchased Memory Maker, which will make sharing all the pictures and videos of their fun vacation really simple.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question, Caroline. I hope your daughter has a truly magical vacation!
