Ahoy, Lindsay!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a MAGICal voyage you have to look forward to in April! The
Disney Magic is a beautiful vessel with so much to experience, so I'm happy to share some ideas on how to enjoy as much as possible when it's your turn to cast off!
Lindsay, your daughter will have an opportunity to participate in
Disney's Oceaneer Club and Lab (ages 3-12) and Edge (11-14). She can pick one or enjoy both. When my son was 12, he flip-flopped between the two depending on what was offered. Your daughter can look at the paper newsletter, the Personal Navigator, or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app each day to decide her plan! My kids always make sure to go to the youth clubs the first night to make new friends. There are icebreakers so the kids can get to know each other and the fabulous youth counselors. As a family, I highly recommend attending the
nightly shows in the Walt Disney Theatre, including the three Broadway-style productions and the variety acts. They are all fantastic! My family also enjoys the family game shows, trivia, first-run movies, and BINGO. There are also crafts and animation classes!
A must-do for you and your boyfriend is
Palo. Although there is an extra fee for this Italian-style meal, it is well worth it for an incredible culinary experience and service. Both brunch and dinner are offered, and both are amazing! Reservations can be made once your online booking window opens up 75 days before you set sail. I also suggest indulging in a spa treatment. There's a
Couple's Choice available in the Senses Spa Villas that's just heavenly. My husband and I also like to relax before and after dinner in Keys or Fathoms with an adult beverage while enjoying the live music. We make sure to attend the adult-exclusive shows in the evenings, especially the game shows. These are always a lot of fun, and our favorite is "Match Your Mate!"
I hope I've given you some great ideas of what to experience on your Disney Magic sailing, Lindsay. Please feel free to reach out again if you need further help with your plans.
