My daughter has a Disney gift card and was wondering if you could use it to pay for balances due on our reservation?

    Dear Sandra,

Thank you for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about using a Disney gift card for your reservation balance.

There are two types of Disney gift cards. One only works for the Disney Store itself, and one works for the Disney Store, the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, and others. If you check your gift card, you'll be able to tell if it is the second type by looking for those logos on the card.

If you determine that it is the type that you can use, then you can use it either with Walt Disney World Resort directly, or with your travel agent. You can also use it in person during your trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
