Hi Tracy!
Disney's Animal Kingdom is absolutely gorgeous during the day, but I personally believe the
park is even more stunning at night! Luckily, it is possible to see both
Tree of Life Awakenings and
Rivers of Light on the same evening! On our first nighttime visit, we were able to do both!
Although Rivers of Light will only have one or two specific showtimes each day, Tree of Life Awakenings begins after the sun sets and happens approximately every 10 minutes until the park closes! If the Rivers of Light show that you would like to attend will end before the park closes, you should have no trouble viewing Tree of Life Awakenings after the show, but make sure you check out the times guide for that day. If it will end after the park closes, you should view Tree of Life Awakenings before Rivers of Light so that you won't miss the Tree of Life come alive with some of the most majestic creatures on the planet!
Although it may not happen after every show, the last time we experienced Rivers of Light, there were two ways to exit the park. You could take the "shortcut," which would take you out of a back gate toward the parking lot, or you could exit the traditional way through Discovery Island. To be able to view Tree of Life Awakenings after the show, make sure you take the traditional route, which will take you to the perfect viewing spot on the bridge from Discovery Island toward the exit of the park.
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!

P.S. We love YOU!
