My daughter is dancing in the parade for ABC christmas morning. We dont have a schedule yet but Id like to book dining ect now. From experience what time are they usually done taping for the day. Id like her to be able to enjoy the parks too not just dance

    HI Heather,

Even with a schedule, it would be quite difficult to predict when your daughter might be done with taping. I've been to WDW a few times during Christmas parade taping weekend. Both times there have been significant changes to the schedule due to weather. One year they moved nearly the entire outdoor taping schedule to a different day.

One thing to remember is that they will be unlikely to tape outdoors in the dark, so you'll probably be OK for dinners. My suggestion would be to go ahead and book dinners, with the idea that as the time gets closer, you may have to modify your plans. There are some WDW restaurants that have penalties for late cancelation. Given your situation, I would steer clear of these.

Given your daughter's temperament, you may also want to consider whether your daughter will want to take time for table service meals or if she'd rather just get out and enjoy some rides.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know when you get more information about the taping and we may be able to offer more suggestions.
