Hey there, hi there Desiree! Welcome, and thanks for bringing us your question.
Walt Disney World hosts some really cool events, and I have to be honest and tell you that I knew of Dance the Magic, but I didn't know much about it. This was a great opportunity for me to make some phone calls and learn a few things.
Depending on when your daughter is participating, this event could span both
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney Springs, or even a second theme park. There is a parade, a showstopper event, and it sounds like lots of rehearsals.
I'm not entirely sure which events your dancer has committed to, but in speaking with the Dance the Magic team, it sounds like the parade at Magic Kingdom should be wrapped up in time for a 5:25 dinner reservation. That may depend on where you've made the
dining reservation, but if you plan to eat at Magic Kingdom, you should be okay.
The rep from Dance the Magic recommended speaking with your daughter's dance troupe, as they may have a more specific itinerary that outlines what they'll be participating in. She said there are VIP events and other scheduled events, like rehearsals and such, that the dance team she'll be with might have a better handle on.
I hope your tiny dancer has the most magical, memorable time!
Anna
