My daughter and I will be coming for her birthday December 11-15, her birthday is December 13th, are there any places I can take her that's suitable for her birthday? Maybe a cake etc.. let me know all the options we have for her I cant find anything.

    Hi Renee,

Happy birthday to your daughter! Here are a few tips for celebrating your birthday at Walt Disney World.

First, any time you make a reservation for ANYTHING (meal, hotel, event) be sure to have them note that you are having a celebration. There's no guarantees, but often this will result in a small perk or two. For example, when we celebrated my twins' 6th birthday at WDW, they were given free cupcakes at several meals. And when my husband and I went to WDW for our 20th anniversary, we were given several glasses of complimentary champagne.

Also be sure to get a free Birthday Button from a ticket booth or guest services window at the parks. When you're daughter wears it, she's likely to get lots of extra smiles and hellos from cast members and other guests.

You can have a cake delivered to any restaurant at Walt Disney World. There's actually a special cake hotline just for this purpose (how cool is that)! To order a cake call 407-827-2253. The independent Disney fan site DisneyFoodBlog.com has lots of photos of cake options and more details about flavors and pricing. As for where to eat, that depends on your daughter's age and interests. If she loves princesses, try Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot. If she she's into science fiction, try the Sci-Fi Dine-In at Disney's Hollywood Studios. If she's a teen and likes glamor, you could even dine at the ultra posh Victoria and Albert's restaurant.
