    My daughter is 11 and we chose the meal plan, now it says she can order from the adult menu but can she order from the childrens menu if she'd prefer?

    Hi Eric! My eleven-year-old son thinks it's so cool that he's considered an "adult" at Walt Disney World, but he sure doesn't want any part of the adult menus at the restaurants! My son is a picky eater, so he prefers the standard kids' fare on the children's menus, and every Disney restaurant we've visited has allowed him to order from the kids' menu. If the foods on the children's menus are more appealing to your daughter than those on the adult menus, she's welcome to order a kiddie meal. 

    Obviously, the cost of a child's meal is much cheaper than the cost of an adult meal at Disney, so using your daughter's adult dining plan to pay for kids' meals is not the most cost-effective use of her meal credits, although a few restaurants may give her an adult-sized portion of the kiddie meal. At  non-buffet restaurants, you may want to consider asking the server if you can pay for your daughter's kiddie meal out-of-pocket instead of using her dining plan credit. Then, other adults in the family could use her adult credits toward their more expensive meals.
