Hey there, Andrianna! Welcome back to planDisney! We love seeing Guests come back to visit us again!
From one Coloradan to another, and from one mama of a kiddo who managed to break the same ankle more than once thanks to her favorite sport, I feel you, and I feel her too! I am so sorry! That is never fun, especially when you are counting down to a magical visit to the
Disneyland Resort. But let’s
stroll right on into your question!
In recent years, Disneyland has prohibited wagons, including
stroller wagons, from entering the theme parks. The only exception is if the wagon qualifies as a
“Stroller as a Wheelchair” accommodation for a child with medical needs or a disability. To have a wagon considered for this accommodation, you will need to stop by Security or Guest Services when you arrive. Approval is granted on a case by case basis, so while it is possible, it is not guaranteed. Because of that, I highly recommend having a backup plan, just in case.
I have pushed my own daughter through a theme park in a wheelchair before, and while it is not always the pixie dust filled option we hope for, Disneyland does offer
wheelchair rentals if needed. You may also want to reach out to
Disability Services ahead of time to see if they have any additional guidance or tips that could help make your visit as smooth and magical as possible.
Before I go, Andrianna, have you heard about the new
Bluey’s Best Day Ever! live show at Disneyland Park? I was there earlier this week and it was such a blast! We were dancing, clapping, and singing along with Bluey, Bingo, and all their pals. It was super interactive and fun for the whole family. Definitely a must do if you have little ones who love Bluey!
I hope your daughter is on the mend very soon! Sending healing thoughts, extra hugs, and plenty of pixie dust her way!
Magic awaits!
