Hello! My daughter is 9 and when I am booking dining reservations she is reflected as a child. However, she is going to be ten at the time of the actual reservations. Is this something to worry about or do I need to notify anyone of the discrepancy? Thx

    Hi Michael,

    Happy Holidays!

Many children have had a birthday after the reservation has been booked. You can let Disney know that your daughter will be ten at the time of your trip. This will increase your ticket price. In addition, if you have the Disney Dining Plan, your daughter will need to order from the adult menu for her meals.

If you are not on the Disney Dining Plan, your daughter is free to order from the children's menu and pay that price. My daughters often ordered from the children's menu when they were a tween as they did not always like the adult selections at the table service restaurants.

    Wishing you a magical day!
