A royal hello to you, Kathy!
I had the pleasure of taking my little princess to dine at
Cinderella's Royal Table for her most recent birthday, and I can not tell you how amazing it was. You will simply have to experience it for yourself!
Kathy, while Cinderella's Royal Table is open, the only princess that you will see is Cinderella herself. While Cinderella does not go from table to table, she does make an appearance to wave at her royal courtiers from a distance. At this time, we do not have any information on when Cinderella's royal friends will return from their trips to their own castle.
You can easily make a reservation for this magical experience on the
Walt Disney World Resort website or through your
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Reservations do book up pretty far in advance and you can make them up to 60-days in advance. If you find that no reservations are available for your dates, keep trying! I have gotten some of my best reservations just a few weeks or even a few days before we leave. One thing you will want to know is that your card is charged for the meal at the time of booking.
Judging by the characters that you want to see, I think that you may want to spend your time at either Magic Kingdom or Disney's Hollywood Studios.
If you are only doing one day in the theme parks, you absolutely must go to the Magic Kingdom. Here you will find the most attractions that the whole family can enjoy, including your littlest Mouseketeer. Pose for some priceless family photographs in front of Cinderella Castle before watching
Mickey and Minnie open the park in true Disney style. The whole family will enjoy rides like
Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Peter Pan's Flight, and Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin while your 4-year-old may be tall enough for
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
If you are going to add a second day to your trip, I recommend that you head to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
At Disney's Hollywood Studios you will find
Toy Story Land, where your oldest will get to fly high on Alien Swirling Saucers and your whole family can enjoy Toy Story Mania! If your 4-year-old is a thrill-seeker, like mine was at that age, you may want to go for a spin on Slinky Dog Dash. It is still my son's favorite ride! Disney's Hollywood Studios will also have
For The First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration and
Beauty & the Beast Live on Stage. Both shows are sure to delight your little princess.
I hope that this gave you a bit of guidance, Kathy. Happy early birthday to your princess!
