My daughter will be attending the Disney college this fall and we plan to visit Walt Disney World over Christmas. Does anyone know what type of resort or park admission discounts our family will be eligable for? Thanks

Hi, Frank! Thanks for visiting us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Congratulations to your daughter on her participation in the Disney College Program. I'm sure she's very excited about this opportunity! The Christmas season is a VERY busy time at Walt Disney World with high attendance (read: crowds) and, as such, discounts for resort stays are few and far in between. In fact, room rates at the resorts are at their peak during the December holiday period.

Unfortunately, there are no theme park admission discounts normally available to regular guests, but your daughter's participation in the College Program may entitle her to a special Cast Member discount (for both resort rooms and theme park admission) that possibly could be extended to her immediate family. This is something that your daughter should inquire about once she is in the program.

In the meantime, I would suggest keeping an eye out for Walt Disney World Special Offers in case a room-only or vacation package discount becomes available for the second half of December. You never know!

Wishing your family a magical vacation, Frank! Please don't hesitate to send any other questions my way as you plan your holiday trip.
