    My daughter and I are running our 1st 5K together at WDW in Feb. Can you tell me if the NB Disney running shoes will be available at the Expo like they are at the WDW Marathon?

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The runDisney New Balance shoes are always so adorable and I'm personally looking to purchase the Haunted Mansion pair during my next runcation!

    I'm so glad to tell you that they will be available during Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo! I would recommend checking the New Balance Virtual Queue website, which they will update as the race approaches. Use of the Virtual Queue can change between each event, if they are using it you will actually sign up and reserve the shoe you are interested in, your size and a time to try on and purchase the shoes. If they choose not to use the Virtual Queue for Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend you will be able to proceed directly to the New Balance booth.

    If the Virtual Queue is active for the weekend and you are unable to reserve a time, you are also welcome to visit the booth throughout the day and they will try their best to accommodate what you are interested in based on the general inventory. Please note that they have a limited quantity of each shoe and size so I recommend trying to get to the expo as soon as you can to make sure you get the perfect glass slipper for you and your princess! 

    I would also recommend signing up for runDisney email notifications and they will likely send more information as your weekend approaches. I hope you both enjoy the royal treatment during the Disney Princess 5K and please let me know if you have any other questions!
