Welcome aboard, Sylvia!
I'm thrilled to hear that you and your daughter are planning a dinner at
Palo, the Adult Exclusive restaurant on the Magic. My husband and I never miss an opportunity to dine there. From the sunset views around the entire restaurant to the truly amazing selections on the menu, we can't get enough of Palo. Sometimes we'll even book both a brunch and a dinner there because we simply can't decide between the meals!
For the kids, Disney Cruise Line's Youth Clubs are the best at sea! The
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab are the spots for your grandchildren. These clubs are for ages three to twelve, and include so many activities with the fabulous counselors there. From dressing up like fairies in Pixie Hollow to training with the MARVEL Avengers in the Avengers Academy, or sliding down the super fun Slinky Dog Slide in Andy's Toy Story Room, they'll be fully entertained and engaged the whole time you're gone. Honestly, I have a really hard time convincing my kids to leave the clubs because there are so many fun activities taking place there all day and night.
No need for reservations for these clubs. Just pre-register the kids for the clubs when you begin your online check-in before setting sail. Once at the port, they'll receive their Oceaneer Bands which they'll wear throughout the cruise. These are scanned as you or your daughter drop them off and pick them up from the clubs. Then, whenever you see an activity in which they'd like to participate, swing by and check them in! Dinner is even served there each evening if you'd like them to eat there while you dine at Palo.
Have fun, Sylvia! I know your grandkids will!
