    My daughter has been accepted in the Disney College Program and will be at WDW Jan 2016 - May 2016. My dad (73) and I (48) will be visiting her 3/17-3/22. If I book our resort room now, can I apply her cast member discount later? It's our 1st time th

    Hi Kathy!

    Congratulations to your daughter for being accepted into the Disney College Program.   Many fellow panelists were a part of this magical program and have shared lots of fond memories of their time at Walt Disney World with me.  I hope your daughter has a great time and makes many unforgettable memories during her program. 

    It is hard to say what discounts may or may not be available to your daughter during her program. Cast Member discounts often have blackout dates and limited availability so it is hard to say if a discount would apply to your visit.  Your daughter will get more information about discounts and perks during her orientation training once she arrives.  You can always book a room now for the dates you are planning to visit, and if your daughter is able to get a discount you can cancel and book through her with the discount.   I encourage you to check out the Special Offers page on the Walt Disney World website to see what the current discounts are.
