Welcome aboard, Felecia! I love the Disney Magic! My kids vote it as their all time favorite of Disney's four ships because of the amazing Youth Clubs!
Did you know that the Disney Magic has not one, but two Youth Clubs for kids your daughter's age? That's right! The
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab are the venues for kids ages three to twelve. Parents can check the kids in with the amazing counselors in the clubs to enjoy the activities and events that go on all day and night! If you get a bit jealous of the fun they have there, like I do, don't worry. There are Open House hours each day when parents get to stay and play with their kiddos. But, other than that, it's check them in for some kids-only fun! So you can sneak away to enjoy some of the Adult Exclusive spaces and activities onboard, like the gym, as you mentioned. Just check your Personal Navigator each day, or the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, for club times. Normally, you'll find them open from about 9:00 a.m. until midnight.
My daughter loved Pixie Hollow when she was your daughter's age. There she would put on fairy dresses, do crafts (sometimes even with Tinker Bell herself!), and play fairy games. Andy's Room is a cool area with Andy's bed, and a Slinky Dog slide. Yes, I admit, it was so cool, I even turn a turn down the slide during Open House! Mickey Mouse Club is another space in the club for the younger set who love Disney Junior, so your little princess will have crafts and games galore to enjoy here! Marvel's Avenger Academy is my son's favorite spot in the Club, since he got to participate in the virtual experience of "Become Iron Man". There is so much to explore, your daughter will be begging for you to take her to the Club and Lab, Felecia!
Happy planning!
