Hi Kristin,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad to hear you'll be heading to Walt Disney World Resort this March. I actually just booked a trip myself, and can't wait to soak up the beauty and blooms of the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. It's such a wonderful time of year to visit!
Though
advance dining reservations are typically available to book 60 days in advance, sometimes the website needs a little extra pixie dust to get everything listed. I can understand why you wouldn't want to miss dinner and a performance of
Fantasmic! during your trip, and you'll be glad to know that Sorcerer Mickey is currently scheduled to battle the forces of evil in early March.
If you take a look at the
Hours & Events Calendar, you'll find showtimes listed under Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment for Disney's Hollywood Studios through the 2nd week of March. Now, timing and availability are always subject to change, but I'm hopeful that showtimes will go off without a hitch.
I'm not sure of your party size, but I do see options to book dining packages for Friday, March 6, and Monday, March 9, at the time of my writing. In my research, I noticed that certain dates in that first week (March 1, 2, 5, 7, and 8) were crossed out on the package availability calendar. I spoke with Cast Member Glory, who noticed the same but was unaware of any specific events that might be happening on those dates.
I recommend checking the
Fantasmic! Dining Package availability often as your travel dates near. I'm dreaming a fantastic dream and crossing my fingers you'll be able to secure the meal and seats at the top of your wishlist. But if all else fails, you can still plan to enjoy the performance via the standby line. We've usually been able to find some type of seating, even if it's not as close to the action as we like, by arriving at least 20+ minutes before the show starts.
Wishing you a magical visit!
Amy
