When do more dates in January open up for ticket reservations

Hello, Elizabeth! I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney. This may be your first question, but hopefully, it won't be your last!

Disneyland Theme Park Reservations are typically released on a rolling basis, 120 days in advance. Currently, however, guests can only make reservations through January 8, 2023. When I chatted with a Cast Member recently, she said that the "120-day rule" is a guideline, but it is not set in stone. The best advice is to keep checking the Availability Calendar daily, as we should see those days appear very soon. Although January is considered "off-season" at Disneyland Resort, Martin Luther King Jr., Weekend usually sees a boost in attendance, so you'll want to make those reservations early.

Elizabeth, another date to mark on your calendar is when to make your dining reservations online, which is usually 60 days in advance. If you prefer to "wing it" and be spontaneous, you can use the Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability using your Disneyland mobile app. Just walk up to the restaurant of your choice and scan the QR code near the entrance. If there's availability, you'll be added to the list! This is a great way to get a last-minute reservation at popular dining spots, such as Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure; the upstairs part (Boardwalk Dining) only has walk-up availability. Perfect for satisfying those Lobster Nachos cravings!
