2 date nights with DW--Citrico's and also Artist Point. What are the prime tables in each restaurant that we should try to get and how do we go about requesting those tables? Do we call ahead or request when we show up? What's the strategy there?

    Hi Patrick,

What a great way to spend some alone time at the Walt Disney World Resorts. I have had the pleasure of eating at both Citrico's and Artist Point.

Citrico's is located in the Grand Floridian. This is one of the first fancy restaurants we took our daughters to learn the art of fine dining. The food was delicious and it is on the list for my husband and I to return to alone one day.  Here you might want a window table or one that puts you right at the action near the kitchen. You can even reserve the Chef's Table for an extra special experience.

Artist Point is located in the Wilderness Lodge. The first and only time I have dined here was on Moms Panel training. It was a wonderful experience. While a window seat is nice in the cooler weather, you can dine outside which might be a nice treat when it is warm outside.

For either restaurant, you can note table preference upon making an Advance Dining Reservation and then confirming upon arrival. You may need to wait longer to obtain your preferred table if available.

    Have a magical vacation!
