Me and my dh would like to have a date night and my two other 16 year olds would like to have a girls night out. We were thinking about bringing dd12 to the kids club at the poly. will she be the oldest there?

Hi, Katherine!  The Neverland Club only takes children up to age 12, so at 12, your daughter will be among the oldest children there.  As for whether or not she will still enjoy the club, it really depends on your daughter.  I cannot predict how many other 12 year olds will be there, but if it happens to be an evening when there are quite a few, she might be happy to make new friends!

I have three daughters.  My oldest is now days away from turning 18, and at age 12, because she was an only child for so long, she would not have been comfortable at the kids clubs.  She would have felt she was much too sophisticated for the activities, which include movies, games, and crafts.  On the other hand, I have an eight year old who I think would still be trying to sneak her way into the clubs when she's 16.  She loves that kind of thing, and would be more than happy to spend an evening there.

If time allows, can you and your husband enjoy date night on one night while the 16 year olds hang out with your 12 year old; then on another night, the older girls can have their girls night out while you do something with your 12 year old?  That would keep her from having to go to the club if she is uncomfortable about being there.

    Enjoy your upcoming vacation!
