what date will the Christmas decorations be removed from the Monorail resorts

Happy New Year, Peter, and welcome to planDisney! You're starting 2024 with a bang by visiting  Walt Disney World Resort, and I can understand wanting to experience a bit of holiday magic when you arrive. Let's look at the typical timeline for those holiday decorations to be available.

I was at Disney Springs last night and was thrilled to see the holiday decor still sparkling. The big tree near the Lime Parking Garage entrance is just beautiful. I also saw a large variety of holiday merchandise at many shops, and Disney's Yacht Club Resort had some fantastic Christmas items in the gift shop. However, the resorts operate on various timelines, so I can't be sure what you'll find when you arrive in a few days.

I chatted with a holly-jolly Cast Member named Rocky who said the gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been dismantled, but there might still be some Christmas touches at those monorail resorts for a few more days. Rocky said there's no exact date that all decor will be gone, but mid-January is usually the estimate.

If you do find any festive holiday touches remaining on your visit, consider it a dash of pixie dust from Santa Mickey himself! I'm waving my magic wand so that you'll spy at least a little tinsel!

Peter, I hope your upcoming visit is magical, with or without "snoap." Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
