Welcome Jessica!
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
While I am unfamiliar with a date on the back of a
theme park admission ticket that has yet to be used, I can share with you some information that might help.
Generally, Walt Disney World Resort theme park admission tickets do not expire until they have been activated. There are fun stories floating around where people have discovered tickets in their sock drawers from decades ago that have days remaining, and they have bought them to Guest Relations and had a grand time at the theme parks.
Once activated, however, most theme park admission tickets do expire in 14-days. They are also non-transferrable. Upon first use, Guests provide their fingerprints at the gate for identification, and then will use the fingerprint screens at the entry for all subsequent visits.
If your theme park admission ticket was successfully linked to your
My Disney Experience Account, you will see any existing restrictions, if any. For example, once activated, your account will show to whom each ticket is assigned provided you are linked as Family & Friends. So if your theme park admission is showing without any restrictions, then I say, "Hakuna Matata!" It means no worries.
If you are still concerned, simply place a quick call to the Existing Tickets line at (407) 939 -7523 just to be sure that your specific tickets are exactly as you expected.
Please let us know how else we can help, Jessica!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
