    Darling Doug! Thnx for the personal touch! We are arriving 9/26 @ about 5pm, wondering what do to for dinner. Taking Mag. Exp. to Pop Cent. Late dinner at Downtown? What do you suggest? Thanks for answering my last question, I took your recommendations!

    Katie,

    There are a lot of good restaurants at Downtown Disney, but none seem just right for your group. I think if it were me I might consider going to Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is a great buffet, sure to have something for everyone. It also gives you an excuse to have a bit of an adventure your first night. A great meal, the chance to tour one of the best-themed resorts, and more.

    There is even a animal viewing area at the resort that you could try out. At night it is especially neat if the staff have their night-vision goggle out that they often let guests borrow. These views of animals at night are ones we rarely get at our hometown zoos.

    If, however, you are set on going to Downtown Disney, I would make any of the following recommendations;

    • Raglan Road (Irish)
    • Wolfgang Puck's (Italian)
    • House of Blues (Cajun/Creole)
    And while it is not my favorite, kids really seem to love the new T-Rex. The dino-theme and broad menu might lead to a good experience for the kids, if not your best cuisine of the week.

    Have a magical vacation!
