Hi Danielle, THANK YOU for your response about the pools and slides that are available to us (GREAT TO KNOW we have access to other pools/slides as we didn't know that). Truly appreciate it. Now I am wondering about birthday celebration options?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Patti!

It's always a joy to see familiar names in my queue, and I'm thrilled you've stopped by again! Being part of creating those special family moments at The Happiest Place On Earth truly warms my heart, especially with repeat visitors like you.

First of all, remember to grab one of those nifty birthday buttons that can be found at the front desks and guest service locations throughout the resort. Wearing them is like having a magic wand – every cast member who spots them will sprinkle some extra pixie dust and good wishes your way!

Now Patti, I've always had a soft spot for the fudge-y decadence of the Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake that you can add to your meal for those special occasions. My first time enjoying it was on my dating anniversary with my now-husband, ages ago. You can find this delightful treat at dine-in spots like the Blue Bayou and the Lamplight Lounge if you visit the theme parks. If you're keeping the festivities at the resort hotels, you can order one at Goofy's Kitchen or Storytellers Café for the perfect sweet ending.

Speaking of those locations- one of my favorite things to do at the resort for special occasions is to book a character dining experience like Goofy's Kitchen or, my favorite, the Storytellers Café. You can dine with some of your favorite characters, and remember to bring your appetite and your camera to capture all the magical moments. I visited Storyteller's on Christmas Eve last month, and Chip and Dale visited our table so frequently that my little guy ran out of things to say to them!

If you want to keep the party going in your hotel room, you can host your own celebration, complete with decorations, treats, and gifts for your birthday boys. You can always decorate your hotel room door and room with your own decor, or for a special Disney touch, in-room celebration packages are available for delivery.

Patti, I hope you've found this information helpful, and I wish you the best as you plan magical memories with your little ones! If you have any more planning questions, please feel free to fall back down the rabbit hole to visit me again anytime. I'd love to share more of my favorite tips to help make your Disney dreams come true!

A very merry unbirthday to you!
