Hey, Melissa! Welcome to planDisney where we're always on your dance card! You'll be arriving for your
Walt Disney World Resort adventure before a Fantasia hippo can pirouette, so let's look at your transportation options during your visit.
I love that you're planning to enjoy
Disney Springs during your trip. My family typically makes "The Springs" our first stop when we arrive in Orlando because it immerses us in the Disney magic. Strolling through the
World of Disney is like snuggling in my favorite comfy blanket! And a treat from the
Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop is the perfect way to say, "Welcome home."
Regarding transportation from Disney Springs, your best option is using a rideshare service like Lyft. This is especially true if you're planning to go from Disney Springs directly to the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, as the hotel's shuttle service is operated by a third party and reserved for its guests. Its shuttle has an entirely separate pick-up location from Disney bus service.
Another option is to park your own vehicle at the hotel for a fee. Check with your dance team coordinators for their advice; they may have vouchers available or other transportation and parking suggestions. You'll be do-si-doing along in no time!
If you decide to go to EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can use the Disney-operated
Friendship Boats from The Dolphin to cruise in style. The International Gateway at EPCOT is my favorite way to access this park since you'll be smack in the middle of the World Showcase. The
Croque Glacé at L'Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion is just a tempting stroll from the boat dock!
Melissa, I'm sending good luck pixie dust for the dance competition! May your team's kicks be in perfect unison, and may your visit be full of memories to treasure. Please
stop by planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
