what are the daily tip amount on a cruise

    Ahoy Lou Anne!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so glad you sailed by with a great question about your cruise next summer!

Disney Cruise Line does encourage recognizing cast members who have provided excellent service with gratuities while onboard.  There are suggested gratuity amounts, but this is always at the guest's discretion.  These suggested gratuities are for your Stateroom Host and rotational dining service team.

If you book services in Senses Spa and Salon, an 18% gratuity is automatically charged to your stateroom for that reservation.  A 15% gratuity is also automatically added to any bar, beverage, wine or deck services tab.  Beyond those charges, all other gratuity is complete at your discretion.

You can prepay your suggested gratuities for your Stateroom Host and dining room service team prior to your sailing.  You can contact Disney Cruise Line to add this to your cruise fare.  If you do not prepay, the suggested gratuities will instead be charged to your onboard stateroom account before the end of your cruise.  To adjust the gratuity amounts, you can stop by the Guest Services Desk (Deck 3, Midship) to make changes.

Enjoy all the planning for your epic adventure next summer!  Bon voyage!  Angie
