is there daily housekeeping on a cruise?

    Welcome aboard, Sarah!

Are you dreaming of your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation? Your whole family is in for magic from the moment you first set foot on the ship as the Cast Members announce your family name and applaud your arrival!

For my family, what really makes the cruise magical is the amazing service and smiles of the Cast Members. The stateroom host is no exception. In fact, it's our stateroom host who consistently goes above what we'd expect to make our cruise so special. Yes, you will receive twice daily visits in your stateroom from your host who will clean the room and make up the beds. Later in the evening, while you're at dinner, he or she will visit again to turn down the beds, straighten up, and leave the next day's Personal Navigator. Should you prefer not to have your room cleaned at a certain time, just leave the Do Not Disturb hanger on the door.

That first day when you arrive and begin to get settled in your stateroom, your stateroom host will knock to say hello and introduce himself or herself. It's a great time to let them know any specific requests you have. As I mentioned, we've had such wonderful stateroom hosts on our sailings that we always end up adding extra gratuities for our stateroom host over the traditional tip amount. Our kids adore getting to know our hosts and really love the special touches they add specifically for the kids to make arriving back at our stateroom so exciting each day!

    Enjoy planning your cruise, Sarah!
