Hi Moms (and Dads), We are making our first WDW trip the first week of April. I am curious if the Memory Maker photo option has replaced the PhotoPass+ option that was listed or are these two separate things? Thanks for all your advice and help!

    Hello Amber,

I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this question!  I was able to try Memory Maker in December and I absolutely loved the service!  In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I've already purchased it for my family's vacation this summer.

With Memory Maker, you get instant access to the digital photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers during your trip.  There are literally hundreds of these spots around Walt Disney World, including some dining spots and attractions, so that means there are plenty of opportunities to capture those magical vacation memories.  Just minutes after the pictures are snapped, you can view, share and download them - this is one of my favorite things about Memory Maker since I love to post and email pictures to friends and family during my trip.  There's no limit to the number of photos you can have added to your account or the number of times you can download them.  As an added bonus, any friends and family you have linked in your My Disney Experience account can also view and download the pictures.  Once you get home, just log in, save the digital photo files and send them off to be printed in any method you prefer.

Memory Maker has replaced PhotoPass+, so that service is no longer available.

I hope that helps answer your questions, Amber, but please let us know if we can help with anything else.  Wishing you a magical vacation in April!
