Hi Moms & Dads! Trip 11/22-11/26. Staying at Caribbean Resort. Planning for MK on 11/22. How early can we pick up tix from resort? Early enough to be there when park opens? Really want to see the opening ceremony! Thanks so much for all your advice!! :

You can go to your WDW resort in the wee hours of the morning to pre-register for your stay. The Disney computers switch over to the next day at about 2:00 a.m. That means you could show up at your hotel at any time after that and complete all the steps of checking-in except geting your room. You can receive your park tickets, dining plan credits (if you've purchased them), and set up room charging privileges if you'd like. You can leave your luggage with the bell services desk at the hotel, or you can leave it in your car. Then you're ready to head off for a day in the park. The front desk of your hotel will give you a phone number that you can call later in the day to double check that your room is ready.

Since the Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 a.m. on November 22, 2009, I'd feel quite comfortable having you pre-register at your hotel at about 7:00 a.m.. This will give you plenty of time to take care of things at the resort and get to the MK well before the opening show.

    Enjoy!
