Hi Moms & Dads. Thank you for all your help in the past! My family & I have lunch reservations at Beaches & Cream on our Hollywood Studios day. We've never been there before. What is the best way to get there and back?

    Hi Naomi,

Thanks for stopping by with your question today!  I'm so happy to hear we've been helpful as you've been making your vacation plans.

Your family is in for a real treat at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop!  Of course, the food is fantastic (I love the grilled cheese and tomato soup), but the real star is the ICE CREAM!  Banana splits and milk shakes and sundaes, oh my!  If your family is feeling adventurous, you might even try tackling the legendary Kitchen Sink - 8 scoops of ice cream, topped with every topping they have.

To get there from Disney's Hollywood Studios, I'd recommend taking the complimentary boat transportation.  There are boats that regularly run between Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot, with stops along the way at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin Hotels, Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and Disney's BoardWalk.  As you're exiting the park, you'll find the boat dock to the left, where you can wait for the next boat to arrive.  Once you're on board, just relax and take in the sights until you get to the stop at Disney's Beach Club Resort.  From the dock there, just head toward the Stormalong Bay and the restaurant is directly behind the pool area.  I'd give yourself at least 40 minutes in travel time from the boat dock to the restaurant.

There is also a walking path that will take you there from Disney's Hollywood Studios, so that's another option.  I'd estimate it typically takes about 25 minutes to walk that route.

I hope that helps, Naomi, and have a magical trip!  If we can help answer any other questions, please let us know.
