Hello Moms and Dads! If taking the ME from Port C, what time can we expect to arrive at WDW? What time to make lunch ADR in EP after checking into YC? Does our luggage go straight from ship to resort or do we collect in terminal and take with us? Thx.

    Hi again, Linda!

The evening before you disembark, you'll be instructed to leave your luggage (except any carry on bags) outside your stateroom for Cast Members to pick up. Be sure to keep any items with you that you'll need for the following morning.

Guests can begin disembarking the ship around 7:30 a.m. If you have Main Dining, you'll have breakfast around 6:45 a.m., or around 8:00 if you had the second seating. Guests can also choose to eat on their own at the buffet if that is easier. Then, simply disembark at your leisure, though you must be off the ship by 9:00.

If you've pre-booked Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation to the Walt Disney World resort ($35 per person one way), you can simply claim your luggage in the warehouse area to go through customs, then hand it back over at the motorcoach so it travels with you to Yacht Club.

The trip from Port Canaveral to the Walt Disney World resort area is around 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on what other resorts the bus visits before yours. Plan for a half hour for check in at Yacht Club, though you might not be able to get into your room at that point. If that's the case, they are happy to hold your bags for you if you're ready to head over to Epcot!

You can take a leisurely walk to Epcot, which takes about 15 minutes. This will allow you to enter through the International Gateway, putting you right into the World Showcase. Alternately, you could take a nice boat ride from Yacht Club to Epcot after picking up guests at Boardwalk.

A lunch reservation around noon, 12:30, or 1:00 in the World Showcase should ensure that you have plenty of time to disembark, travel to your resort, check in and walk or boat over to Epcot. I'd probably opt for the later time, as our family doesn't like to feel rushed. You'll enjoy your day more if you have plenty of time to wander on your way to lunch.

Have fun as you continue to plan!
