    Hi Moms and Dads! What are some sit-down restaurants that I might be able to get into without a reservation?

    Hi Cathy! Thanks for visiting us here at the Moms Panel! If you want to dine at a particular restaurant and can't get a reservation, it never hurts to try walking up and asking if a table is available. Guests sometimes book reservations and then fail to show up for various reasons, so there's always a possibility of snagging a table as a walk-up at the popular restaurants. 

    There are definitely some restaurants at Walt Disney World that always seem to have last-minute availability. If you want a sit-down meal and don't have reservations, you're likely to find available tables at the following restaurants:

    • Sanaa
    • The Wave
    • The Grand Floridian Cafe
    • Big River Grille
    • Marrakesh
    • Nine Dragons
    • Captain's Grille
    • The Plaza
    • The Hollywood Brown Derby
    If you're in the parks and have a smart phone, you can search online for last-minute dining reservations near you. I did this several times during my vacation last month, and found a surprising number of restaurants with availability.
