Hello mom's and dads. We are planning on sharing a 2 bedroom Villa with another family. If my family of 4 adds the DDP does the other family of 2 also have to add it?

    Hello Steven,

Thank you for continuing to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions. We are here to help and happy to do so.  When Guests decide to reserve the Disney Dining Plan, everyone listed on the entire room reservation will be required to purchase the Disney Dining Plan, as well.  In other words, yes, the other family would need to purchase the Disney Dining Plan.

My advice is take a moment and look at what your dining itinerary looks like. The Walt Disney World website can give you a pretty good idea on the cost of menu items and do a rough estimate. My family is not big eaters and at times only do a few Table Service restaurants, so the Disney Dining Plan was not cost effective for us. It is worth taking the time to see, what your best option is here.  If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance, in deciding, feel free to ask.

May your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
