Hello moms and dads, planning mother/daughter trip to the World in March 2010, do we start booking our dining reservations now or can we wait until we get there? Trying to stay on a budget.

Hey Kelly!  That sounds like a wonderful trip and a treat the two of you will always remember.  If you are wanting to dine at table service restaurants and character dining experiences, you absolutely want to book when your 180 day window opens.  If you wait until you arrive, chances are you will not be able to enjoy any of Disney's table service dining.  This is also especially important since you are going in March which coincides with many spring break trips.
If you are trying to stay on a budget, why not make a few ADRs and then plan some counter service dining.  (No ADRs are required for counter service.)  This will absolutely save you some money and also free up your schedule a bit.
I hope this helps and that the two of you have the most wonderful WDW vacation in March.  If you have any more planning questions, please don't hesitate to come back and visit us here at the Mom's Panel.
