Hi, Moms and Dads! My family and I will be in WDW in Sept. (YAY) We are staying at POR. We have reservations for Ohana at 9am on a Saturday. I'm putting together our travel plan. How long will it take to get to the Polynesian? Which is the best route?

    Hi there Jason!

How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in September!  You are going to love the relaxing atmosphere, unique theming and fun recreational activities at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Best Friends Breakfast featuring Lilo & Stitch at 'Ohana is a personal family favorite and a great way to start the day.

The quickest way of traveling to 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is by car. If you will have access to a car during your trip, I would recommend driving. If you will not have a car during your stay, you may want to consider taking a taxi if you don't mind paying cab fare.  You can estimate your travel time to take approximately 10 minutes by car. If you are hoping to utilize Disney's complimentary transportation, I suggest taking a bus bound for Magic Kingdom Park and then transfer to the water launch (water taxi) or Resort monorail bound for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.  I would allow at least 40 minutes for the travel time if utilizing Disney's complimentary transportation.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to reach out again should you have any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Jason!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
