Hi Cynthia!
Thanks so much for your question! Yes,
Memory Maker recently replaced PhotoPass+ at Walt Disney World, so PhotoPass+ is no longer available for purchase. While the two services are similar, there are some important differences to keep in mind. The main difference is that Memory Maker is completely digital, while you received printed photos from some dining locations and a CD with your digital photos with PhotoPass+.
I was able to try Memory Maker during a visit in December and absolutely loved it! You get instant access to digital photos taken during your vacation by Disney PhotoPass photographers at hundreds of locations throughout Walt Disney World, including some attractions and dining spots. That means you can view, download and share your vacation pictures just minutes after they're taken. There's no limit to the number of photos or the number of times you can download them, and any friends and family you have linked in your
My Disney Experience can also view and download the photos at no cost. Since you mentioned dining, I was able to find the list below of restaurants that are currently participating in Memory Maker, but I wouldn't be surprised if additional locations are added soon:
1900 Park Fare
Chef Mickey's
Hoop De Doo Musical Revue
'Ohana
Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show
Tusker House Restaurant
Wishing you a most magical vacation! Please stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any other questions.
