    Hi moms & dads - 19 days to my 1st solo trip to WDW!!! if I do the online check-in, is there a place to give room location requests? I'm staying at the Caribbean - what cluster of buildings would you recommend for a solo visitor? Thank you!

    Tracy,

    In my experience, what you can request regarding room location varies by each resort's Online Check-In. Typically it is more about asking for proximity to the lobby or transportation location. But if you are given the opportunity to choose, focus on getting to stay near the Old Port Royale Centertown. That gets you closest to the dining and other amenities that you would care about. That means Trinidad North, Martinique, Jamaica, or Aruba sections, in that order.

    One other thing you might consider doing is contacting the resort itself and ask for a room in a particular building. You can do this 10 days out, and I would recommend them in this order;

    Buildings/Clusters
    31-Trinidad North
    26-Martinique
    25-Martinique
    32-Trinidad North
    45-Jamaica
    51-Aruba
    44-Jamaica
    52-Aruba

    Have a magical vacation!
