Hi Moms and Dad's! I bought new fancy magic bands for my family for Christmas Stocking Stuffers (we have a ton of the solid color ones), my question is how do you link these bands to MyDisney Experience? When we get direct from Disney they r already li

Hi, Latisha! Linking your new MagicBands to your My Disney Experience account is as easy as saying, "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." Wait, I promise it's actually much easier than that. You will want to make sure all Guests in your party, even the little princes and princesses, are set up in your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience. Once your family has found their extra magical surprises in their stockings, take a look at the back of each band. You will notice a 12-digit Band ID number that will need to be logged into My Disney Experience and linked to a specific Guest in your Family & Friends list. If you have also linked your theme park tickets to each of the Guests that you just used to link the MagicBands, then you should have no problems being automagically scanned into the parks with a flick of your MagicBand adorned wrist.

If you do happen to have issues linking your MagicBands, any Cast Member in Guest Services or a MagicBand merchandise location will be happy to assist you once you arrive for your vacation. It is a very easy process for them and will only take a few minutes. I experienced a bit of trouble linking a Stitch-themed MagicBand that I had purchased for my daughter last year. We stopped by the Emporium in Magic Kingdom Park and one of the Cast Members there had us ready to go in no time.

I hope this helps you get all set up for a magical vacation, Latisha. Please let me know if you have any further questions as you continue to plan your stay. I hope you and your family have a very merry Christmas!
