Hi Moms & Dads Does anyone know how likely it is that I could be assigned the same room if I book a 1 nights stay followed by a 7 night package at SSR 1-bdrm? Arriving 1 day before & not sure I should pay for SSR or save $ and book the night @ POP.

    Hello Linda!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It looks like you will be traveling to Walt Disney World next week. You are going to love the spaciousness of a 1 Bedroom Villa. For my larger family, the 1 and 2 Bedroom Villas have totally spoiled us! Our family enjoys our vacations so much more when we all have our own space to spread out and relax.

If you are going to add a one night, room only reservation for a 1 Bedroom Villa, I think the odds are good that you might not have to move. However, this is never a guarantee and it is entirely possible you would be asked to check-out and then check back in. If you choose to do this, I would make sure it is noted on both reservations, and I would mention it again at the front desk when you arrive.  While Cast Members will do their very best to accommodate you, you should be prepared that moving might need to happen. If you did need to move rooms, the Bell Services staff at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa would be more than happy to help you transport your baggage from one room to the next, to make the transition as smooth as possible.

I hope you enjoy your stay at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Make sure to leave a little time to enjoy a trip over to Downtown Disney which is under an imaginative transformation into Disney Springs. With new retail and dining establishments opening over the next few months there is always something new to see. While I haven’t eaten there, several of my Moms Panelists friends have dined at the new restaurant The Boathouse and say it is amazing! You can either take a water taxi or enjoy the new pedestrian bridge for a leisurely walk to Downtown Disney.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
