Welcome to planDisney, Allie, and thank you for this great question. Several of my family members benefit from breathing machines for quality shut-eye, so let's put your mind at rest about where to get distilled water for your dad on your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort visit.
If you've stayed at any Disney Resort Hotel before, I'm sure you've browsed the gift shops that are typically near their lobbies. But did you know that most hotel shops have a section, usually in the back, offering a few groceries and sundry items? I've seen distilled water in this section before, but my panelist pal
Doug recently advised another guest to ask a Cast Member if you don't see it on the shelf because it might be stored in a stockroom to save space. Doug specifically mentions the Ink and Paint Shop at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort as an excellent place to find those splashes of H2O.
Since supply can vary, ordering groceries from a delivery service in advance is another option. You can have items delivered to
Bell Services for a small fee and pick them up when you arrive. My family likes to have some quick breakfast items and snacks in our hotel because no matter how much delicious food we eat in the theme parks, we're always a little hungry at the end of the day.
My final tip is to take a walk around the
Hourglass Lake trail during your stay. This 1.38-mile loop meanders around the peaceful lake and offers views of the
Disney Skyliner and Disney's Pop Century Resort. My husband and I always stretch our legs when we first arrive by enjoying this trail and discussing our plan of action for our visit.
Allie, I'm waving my Fairy Godmother wand so your visit will be full of magical and well-rested memories. Please
stop by planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
