What if my dad is a retired GM employee? I see GM employees can show ID - what do you do for retirees, if anything?

    Howdy Janet!

Being the daughter of a GM retiree myself,  I can understand your wanting to know about any benefits your Dad may receive at Walt Disney World.    I hope I can help answer a few things for you.

Janet, GM employees and retirees have access to a special website that does currently offer a few discounts on tickets to Walt Disney World.  Your father would have to access this page, and can call his retiree benefits office with help locating it.    When you arrive at Disney GM employees and their Guests will have the ability to enjoy the Conference and Training Center located near the entrance to Test Track. Inside this Center are refreshments and special access to the Test Track attraction.   The Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.   GM employee identification is required to enter this Center, so be sure your dad brings this along when he travels.   The GM employee must be present with all Guests in order to gain access.

I hope this has helped to answer your questions, Janet.   Enjoy your time at Walt Disney World with your family.  If I can be of further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.
