Hi Mom's & dad! I want to take my parents out for a thank you meal & am having a hard time picking a place, it is DMom, DDad, DH, DD3, DD2 & myself, Looking for somewhere FUN, character or not, looking for suggestions in all price ranges, than

I would suggest dinner at 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian.  It is a character meal with CInderella, Prince Charming, the stepmother and stepsisters.  I know a character meal may seem like it's for the kids, but this one is great for adults too, I promise.

The food is excellent.  It's a buffet, which is often easier with little children.  (Believe me, I know - we're at that age too!)  There are mini buffets especially for children with kid-friendly favorites, but of course they are welcome to select from the adult food as well.  This is a more gourmet spread than you may find at other locations, and it's really delicious.  Be sure to sample the strawberry soup!

The characters will be great to keep your little princesses entertained, but the adults will be entertained as well.  Of course it's wonderful to see your daughters' delight at meeting CInderella.  But the real fun here, for the grown-ups, is Lady Tremaine, Anastasia, and Drizella.  They are hilarious!  Loud and boisterous, and just as outlandish as you might imagine.  They crack jokes and make funny comments about Cinderella and the prince, of course, and they do like to tease.  We eat there a lot and it's not at all unusual to see groups of only adults dining here, just to partake in the fun.

If character dining isn't your top choice, I would also consider dinner at 'Ohana (Polynesian) or lunch or dinner at the Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge).  Again, the food is excellent at both, and you'll find fun and games to keep the kids entertained.  The Whispering Canyon even has fun with big kids!  Hint - ask for ketchup!
